OLEG CASSINI Vintage Signed White Cloverdale Visor The CROSBY at Bermuda Run
download picture
description
The OLEG CASSINI Vintage Signed White Cloverdale Visor from the 1980s is a stylish and unique accessory perfect for casual occasions. Made from a comfortable cotton blend material, this adjustable visor features a sporty look and is designed in a classic white color. With its original signature and country of origin being the United States, this vintage piece adds a touch of nostalgia and sophistication to any outfit.
I personally obtained Oleg Cassini\'s autograph on this visor at the 1986 Crosby golf tournament at Bermuda Run while working as a volunteer. Had fun wearing the visor that weekend - called it my designer visor. Signature is black ballpoint ink on white bill of visor. Visor is made in the USA by Cloverdale of High Point.
It is in good condition. Worn for a few days during the 1986 tournament. Some yellowing and tiny bit of rust on back strap from metal adjustment buckle.
Oleg Cassini came to the United States as a young man after launching his career as a designer in Rome, and secured a position with Paramount Pictures. Cassini established his reputation by designing for films. He became particularly well known as a designer for Jacqueline Kennedy while she was First Lady of the United States. The \"Jackie Look\" was to become highly influential and much admired. Among Cassini\'s inspirations were sports and Native American culture.
